Fred Ramirez

Fred is survived by his siblings Maria Luisa Renteria, Gloria Huerta, Jose Luis Parra, and Jesus Parra, all of Lancaster, California. Additionally, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Anthony Ramirez, sister, Rosa Castillo, and his mother, Beda Parra.

Fred was born August 3, 1955 in El Paso, Texas. The family moved to California in 1961 where he grew up. He attended Park View elementary, attend and graduated from Antelope Valley High School.

Fred lived freely, his family remembers him as a kind, gentle, and loving person who always opened his door with a warm welcome.

Fred enjoyed the outdoors, fishing at Apollo Park, and riding his bicycle through the streets of Lancaster. He fondly cared for his family during time of need. He so loved his nieces and nephews of which he recalled as his best years. He will truly be missed.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12 December 2017, 9am to 1pm at Joshua Memorial Mortuary with a burial immediately thereafter at Lancaster cemetery. A reception will follow at the Oxford Suites, 1651 W. Ave K, Lancaster, from 2 – 5:30pm.
