He worked at Convair then joined the US Navy and served on board the USS Walke. After the Navy he worked for the telephone company for over 30 years.
He enjoyed working with his model railroad, restoring old guns and camping with his family. After retirement he enjoyed cruising with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou, 3 children Karen, Chris and Tim, 5 grandchildren Keri, Amanda, Taylor, Jason and Justin, 6 great grandchildren Nathan, Kevin, Cheyenne, Brittany, Sage and Kristin, and 2 great great grandchildren Mason and Jaxson.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents Anita & Glen and his daughter Susan.
There will be a celebration of life at 2121 Orange St, Rosamond CA 93560 at 3 pm, Nov 22nd, 2025. Light refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Easter Seals, St. Jude or a charity of your choice.
