Bailey, Howard Henry was born March 1, 1952, in Georgetown, Guyana to Ernest Coats and Lourdes Baily. Howard was one of eight siblings, Egbert Ifill (deceased); Eric Bailey (Neville); Albert Bailey; Maria Bailey; Donna Hinds-Haynes; Gillian Grant; and Derrick Trevor Barton. He lived most of his young adult life in Guyana. Howard loved music and was a singer in his younger years in Guyana. He had three daughters- Althea Rodney, Abena Williams, Alana Bailey, and Tanisha Johnson-Maxwell, his stepdaughter. In 1984, Howard moved to the United States. He resided in New York for several years and moved to California in 1987. He worked for Costco for over 25 years. He enjoyed traveling, family, friends and all sport. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Rena; six siblings: three daughters; two grandchildren-Akelia Baily and Aleena King; goddaughter's, Aeisha (Bailey) Mannla; best friend, Michael Wrong; nieces; nephews; family and friends. A Memorial Service was held on Monday July 25, 2016 at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary Chapel at 3:00 P.M.
