Huyen Dinh Hoang

Huyen Hoang, age 90, of Lancaster, California, passed away on January 29, 2026, at Palmdale Regional Medical Center. He will be remembered for his gentle presence, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Huyen is survived by his three sons, four daughters, his sister Cindy, six grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and family patriarch who dedicated his life to the well-being and success of his loved ones.

When first arriving in the United States, Huyen faced many challenges with courage and determination. Like many immigrants, he started with very little, but never allowed hardship to weaken his spirit. He worked tirelessly and took on any job available, doing whatever was needed to provide for his family. His days were long, and his work was not always easy, yet he remained steady, humble, and strong, always focused on giving his children the opportunity to build a better future. Through years of hard work, perseverance, and quiet sacrifice, he made it possible for them to receive the education and support they needed to succeed. Huyen raised his children to become dedicated professionals who serve others, especially in education and healthcare. Their compassion and commitment to helping others stand as a lasting testament to the values he instilled: integrity, responsibility, resilience, and service to the community.

Huyen found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a deep appreciation for tea and delighted in discovering and collecting different varieties whenever he traveled or shopped. His favorite was Moc Cau tea from northern Vietnam, which brought him both comfort and found memories.

He also found great fulfillment in gardening, carefully tending to fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers in his backyard. His garden reflected his nature---patient, nurturing, and full of life.

Throughout his life, Huyen was known as a hardworking and selfless man who placed the needs of others above his own. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help those in difficulty defined his character and earned him the respect and love of all who knew him.

Huyen Hoang's legacy lives on through his family and the many lives touched by his compassion. He will be forever remembered, deeply loved, and greatly missed.
