Jason Matthew Higgins

Jason Matthew Higgins, 45, was born on December 30, 1976 and died on June 29, 2022 at 6:03am. He is survived by his parents Richard and Debbie Higgins. He is also survived by his sister Kristina, 42 (Josh), niece Brianna and nephew Hayden; Tia, 40; Sonja, 36 (Shaun), niece Sophia; Tiffany, 34 (Steven), nephew Brian, niece Carly, nephew Levi, and niece Samantha.

Jason grew up as an inquisitive person and developed an affinity for muscle cars and mechanical engineering. He did BMX and Motocross. He could often be found working on classic American made muscle cars and at car shows winning best of show with his dad. When Jason was with his family, he was playing practical jokes, talking with his sisters, or even making plans with his nieces and nephews. Jason could aggravate and mess with his sisters constantly, but he was very protective of them so no one else was allowed to. He would travel across the country to protect them. He had a very special bond with his one sister Tia. Whenever Jason walked in the door Tia would light up. Jason and Tia would crack jokes, make noises, and have the best of time. Everyone knew Tia because Jason spoke about her to everyone. Everything Jason was about, was his family. Jason lived his life for them. All family get togethers were even more eventful when Jason would attend because he would have some smart remark to make and making goofy faces. Jason’s laughter was contagious and his smile can bring a smile to anyone’s face. If Jason was here today, he would say that his biggest achievement in life was the amount of love and joy he had for his parents and sisters.

Jason is well loved and very much missed by his parents, sisters, nieces and nephews. Jason is looking down on them from the stars and sending light to their tears.

Jason’s Celebration of Life is July 30, 2022 at 11am at the Elks Lodge in Lancaster, CA.
