Neenan, Lucy Rebecca was born and grew up in Assumption, Illinois. Lucy attended Wellsley University in Chicago Illinois and became a registered nurse. Lucy loved quilting, gardening, camping and foster parenting. She lived in the Antelope Valley for over 61 years. Lucy leaves behind son Gerald Lane McClendon of Elmore City, Oklahoma, Charles Roland McClendon of Lancaster, California, Daniel O'Brian Neenan of Olympia, Washington and one daughter Cynthia Marie Sheckells of Santa Clarita, California. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Roger Scott Sheckells, Gerald Hugh McClendon, Ryan Charles McClendon, Tyler Matthew McClendon, Shalon Christine McClendon, Kylene Dawn Higgins, Rachel Rene Wright. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents Nathan Rolland and Mary Rosa Coffey of Assumption, Illinois. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster California 93535 on Friday December 28, 2018 at 1:00.
