Melba was a whole and fully realized individual as well as a mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, mother in law, confidant, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived her life purely, lovingly, as she pleased and she always commanded respect. Her surviving children, family and friends miss her deeply. She has gone to join her dearly departed husband and son to be with the Lord.
A funeral service for Melba will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ Missionary Bible Church, 5310 W. Ave L, Quartz Hill, CA 93536. A graveside service will occur Monday, June 19, 2023 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA 93203.
