Precila Lucita Victoria was born on March 4, 1954 and fell asleep in Christ on November 30, 2020. Precila arrived in Sydney, Australia as a tourist from Manila, the Philippines in August 1980. She met her future husband Ian Wace, at a Bible study class one Sunday evening not long after that. Ian soon became her “tour guide” and then eventually they married in February of 1981. Although she was in a foreign land she never forgot the God of her childhood, who blessed Precila & Ian with 40 years of marriage; 21 years in Australia followed by 19 years in The United States. Both countries equally blessed them as they successfully raised their two children Liezl & Aaron, and then later, their two grandchilden Caleb & Joshua which all kept life interesting and active. Precila will always be remembered for her smiling, energetic, fun, and welcoming personality. She was a very loving, protective, and caring mother of her two children and grandchildren. Ian & Precila very much enjoyed going on big long road trips across many of America’s finest national parks and wide open spaces filled with its big skies, grandeur, and majestic beauty. But Precila felt most at home organizing, cooking, and spending time laughing with her family and pet cats after a day of honest, hard work with her friends and favorite clients at the bank. Precila passed away unexpectedly but comfortably on a calm sunny morning in the home she loved so much and in her loyal husband’s arms. Her hope in the return of Jesus never failed her and she now lays in rest awaiting the return of her Lord and his coming kingdom.
