Richard Charles Dorsey III

Richard Charles Dorsey III, was born April 2, 1971 in Los Angeles CA. The son of Richard Charles Dorsey II and Beverly Faye Martin. Richard grew up in the Crenshaw District where he attended Hyde Park Elementary School. Richard was very smart in school and would always bring home awards and certificates showing off and bragging about how great he was. It continued throughout his school years. Shorty after High School Richard worked for U.P.S. for many years. At the age of 19 Richard met his forever sweetheart Keisha D. Jones (Keesh) who was by his side throughout his life until his transition. Keisha and Richard shared in raising 9 beautiful children and 19 grandchildren. Also, Uncle Patrick who they took on as there very own. Richard always said he wanted a baseball team. Richard obtained a love for birds he was a natural. He flew bird clubs including Acrc. His passion for animals lead him to his last employment at Cal City Pet Clinic in California City, California.

Richard will always be remembered for his "Big" Bear Hugs. Some would say come on Rich bur that only made him hug tighter. Richard had a joyful spirit and hilarious sense of humor. He truly brought life to the party and family gatherings.

Entrepreneurship was his love he was always organizing and operation new business plans. He wanted to start a family business which lead him to Bros???

We will forever remember him for his loving nature his playfulness and his occasional stubbornness we could not spend one moment with him without him expressing his love and how beautiful he thought his family was. Extremely proud to be our "Alpha Male" LOL!

Richard loved God and would pray for his family daily. (Lord Help Us All) was his favorite saying.

God called Richard home on September16, 2021 at California Rehabilitation Center in Van Nuys California.

He goes on to join his mother Beverly Faye Martin, father Richard Charles Dorsey II, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories life long partner Keisha Jones, Denzel Dorsey, Devon Dorsey, Kiara Dorsey, Kobe Dorsey, Davey Dorsey, Diamond Dorsey, and Dana Dorsey II, brother in law Patrick Jones, 19 1/2 grandkids, sister Dana Dorsey, brother Jermaine Martin, Nieces: Day'Nisha, Jasmine, Tyland, Jordan and Jayden Nephews: Daniel, BJ and Fat-Fat. Aunt Kathleen Martin, Uncle Abraham Martin and a host of cousins and good friends.
