Aicha B Watson

Aicha Bent Watson was born in Morocco. She was the youngest of three children. Aicha was orphaned at an early age and, while life in Morocco was hard, she made it through with lifelong friends in Hajla and Jamilee.

In 1959 she met and married John Paris Watson who has preceded her. John and Aicha had three children, Llayla, Milinka, and Fatima.

Aicha possessed an unmatched level of courage and strength that guided her through life. She had a passion for helping the elderly even as she herself grew older. She never saw herself as elderly and remained youthful and fashionable even into her eighties.

Aicha leaves, to mourn her passing, daughters Llayla, Milinka, Fatima; sons in law Darryl and Kevin; grandchildren LaQualia, Monique, and Leroy; great grandchildren Zhamara, Aajha, and Khari . She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a beloved friend in Kim Woods.

Aicha’s lifeforce far exceeded her small stature, naturally charming everyone she met. As a mother, grandmother, and dear friend, Aicha will be deeply missed.

A visitation for Aicha will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9:20 AM to 10:00 AM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
