

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of a remarkable man, Alberto A. Ricci, Jr, who departed this world on February 22, 2024. Alberto, a pillar of strength, a beacon of wisdom, and a repository of love, leaves a legacy forever etched in the hearts of those fortunate to know him.
Alberto was a beacon of resilience and wisdom, navigating the complexities of life with grace and fortitude. As a father with a wide-reaching legacy, he embraced life with a complexity that mirrored the diverse tapestry of his family. He took pride in sharing stories of the past, weaving a tapestry that connected the threads of the past with the present. Alberto was also an active member of the St. John Neumann Church in Las Vegas, NV.
Most importantly, Alberto was a man of love, especially to his loving wife, Yolanda, with whom he shared the last 41 years. His life was a testament to the beauty of a well-lived life filled with love, laughter, challenges, and triumphs. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will forever linger in the traditions he upheld, the love he shared, and the memories he created.
Alberto was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of Alberto and Lydia Ricci, on July 12, 1936. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda, and thirteen of his children, Loli (Luis Angel), Gerardo (Lisbeth), Diego (Liz), Paloma (Roberto), Chiqui (Alfredo), Jose (Marisol), Reyes (Ricardo), Rocio (Rafael), Alberto (Maggie), John Paul (Cherryl), Albert (Beate), Ana (Chad), Loretta (Max aka Big Guy), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by many family members and many, many friends.
In honoring Alberto Ricci's memory, let us remember the lessons he imparted, the love he gave, and the strength he embodied. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love that resonates in our hearts.
