Alice Juanita Ward, daughter of Fredrick E. Ward and Alice J. Ward, was born May 28, 1956 at Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles. She passed away Nov. 25, 2010, in Las Vegas. She was a loving mother, sister, grand- mother, aunt and great-aunt. Alice is survived by one daughter, Christine Vovos-Hernandez; two brothers, Frederick Ward and William Ward; two granddaughters, Melanie Meza and Monique Meza; two grandsons, David Hernandez and Michael Hernandez; one great-grandson, Dante Hernandez; four nephews, Joseph Ward, Charles Ward, William A. Ward and Bryan Ward; three nieces, Angela Pinner, Kathleen Pizzurro and Nicole Ward; nine great-nephews; and nine great-nieces. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, with Vigil and Rosary following, all at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Palm Mortuary-Northwest.
