Allyn Wilson died at home, aged 96, on May 14, 2026. Born in Midwest, WY on August 13, 1929 he was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother. Allyn is survived by his wife, a daughter, two grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew, as well as two special cats, Buster and Mighty Mouse.
Al was a graduate of Kearney High School in San Diego, class of 1947 and an Army veteran of the Korean War. In 1955 he returned to Las Vegas where he worked in the construction industry, met his wife of 64 years and raised his family.
Allyn was an avid sports fan, WY fly fisherman, and gardener. A gentleman and a gentle soul that loved family and animals, he will be missed.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on August 8th at Palm Mortuary S. Jones, time TBD. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, homewardboundcats.org.
