Amy raised her four children on her own. She lived her life day to day, not dwelling on the past or looking too far to the future. She recognized and enjoyed moments and opportunities as they came. And made opportunities for herself and her family as she needed.
An independent and creative woman, she enjoyed work as an interior designer. She had a column in the newspaper, "Ask Amy" about interior decorating. She later had success as a real estate agent.
Amy was a strong, beautiful, smart, independent woman who loved and was loved. She lived life and gave it her all.
Amy was a great cook. She enjoyed driving her car, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She liked a hot cup of coffee - black, and a stick of Juicy Fruit gum.
Through the years she enjoyed the beach, visiting New York City and traveling. Using her creative skills she liked shopping for and decorating her own homes up to her last home here in Las Vegas.
She had faith and saw to her children's and grandchildren's religious upbringing; taking them to church. She also taught Sunday School when she was young.
Amy was preceded in death by her loving son Daniel, her mother (Muz) and dearly loved father, her brothers Anthony, John and Paul and sister-in-law, Kathy and her aunt (and friend) Gilda.
Amy is now at rest with them.
Amy is survived by those that love her. Her sons Michael and Steven; her daughter Patty; her grandchildren Louis, Samantha, Marcus and Patrick; her five great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Annie Notare; Louis Notare; Chipper and Nikki Notare; her nieces Shelley Sampson and her family and Jodi Reynolds and her family.
All of whom she received joy and gave joy to. As time went by . . .
