Amy Marie Pound Layongsar, 40, a medical assistant, of North Las Vegas, passed away Friday, May 5, 2011. She was born July 12, 1970, in Fairfield, California, and was a 40 year resident of Nevada. Any was preceded in death by her father Roy E. Pound: and brother, Phillip R. Pound. Amy is survived by her husband Souphasai "Joshua" Lavongsar; sons, Christopher R., Kailob J. and Nicholas A.; mother Peggy M. Pound; sister Deanna M. Groover; grandmothers, Mary Marshall and Ana Pound; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129
