Barbara-Lee Ophelia Hinton, 77, a retired certified nursing assistant, of Las Vegas, passed away April 22, 2010. She was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Frederick, Ark., and was a 30-year resident of Nevada. Barbara-Lee married Bill Hinton in 1969 and was still in love with him even after he passed away in 1997. They were both active members of the LDS Church, the VFW and the IOF. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Ann. Barbara-Lee is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth and James; children, Steve, Roy, Barbara, Jean, Ed and Lydia; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 30, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Viewing will again be noon-1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, with services following, both at the LDS Church, 1001 Christy Lane.
