

Beau was born February 23, 1971 to his parents Harvey and Laura Penland in Memphis Tennessee. The family later moved to Nashville,TN, Plano, TX, San Anselmo, CA, and Conifer, CO. He moved to Las Vegas six years ago.
As a child his love for sports started with T-ball and Pop Warner football. He went on to play baseball throughout his time Plano High School. At 5, he met Arnold Palmer at his Bay Hill Club and took his first golf lesson. He was hooked for life!
Beau attended college at UC Berkeley in California and graduated with a Bachelors in The Economics of Natural Resources. During college, Beau worked in the Golf business part time. After graduating, Beau worked in the IT industry in Sales and Consulting for 25+ Years. He then followed his passion and reentered the Golf business going on to be a Master Fitter as well as becoming an excellent and passionate golfing coach. He was looking forward to playing to Pebble Beach this year.
In addition to golf, he also loved skiing, mountain biking and football - he was a Dallas Cowboys man. But more so he loved people. He always wanted to help those in need, especially those who couldn’t stand up for themselves. He had an infectious sense of humor that never failed to make us laugh and which we will remember fondly and always miss.
He is survived by his family including his parents Harvey and Laura Penland, his sister Elizabeth Britt Heimann and husband John B. Heimann, nieces and nephews Ava Elizabeth Heimann, Avery Webb Heimann and wife Kaila and Aidan Beau Heimann, cousins Kelly Suskie and husband Bruce , Tara Murphy and husband Ron, Paul Penland and wife Alex, Jessica Penland, Jennifer Penland and husband Patrick, Catherine Penland, Ellen Mitchell and husband Dave as well as aunts and uncles, Lucia Penland, Helen Albritton, Bob Serabia, Will Penland and wife Susan, Charles Penland and wife Karen, James Penland and wife Denise. Beau is predeceased by his loved ones Ben Murphy, Shelby Sultan, Linda Serabia, and Judy Skaggs and all of his grandparents.
After a tough struggle with pneumonia, Beau is now resting in heaven, held in the loving arms of Jesus.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 7, 2026, at 11:00am at Hope Fellowship East, located at 9500 Rolater Rd, Frisco, Texas 75035. The dress is casual.
