“I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,
For his eye is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me.”

Bessie P. Eubank “Auntie Bess”
Bessie Eubank, 97, of Las Vegas, Nevada peacefully entered into eternal rest at TLC
Nursing Facility on December 8, 2020. Born to Black and Filipino parents, Clarence Eubank
and Eusebia Padilla, she was one of seven children, which include, Edward, Ramon,
Clarence, Rose, Andrea, and Camilla.
Never married, Auntie Bess is survived by her only adopted son, Clarence Eubank IV. However,
she was always surrounded by her beloved nieces, Elsie and Lillian whose children,
Jameson, Andrew and Leilani were dear to her heart.
She was an accomplished seamstress, who loved to read books and solved crossword
puzzles. Furthermore, she donated to numerous charities, one of which called for the financial
support of impoverished children in the Philippines. But most of all, she loved to take care of
us, which gave her a purpose and a reason for her selfless devotion to seeing us through the
years.
The family would like to express our gratitude for the wonderful help and care given
by Summerlin Retirement Home. No services are scheduled to take place. Cremation will
commence at Palm Mortuary, 7400 West Cheyenne Ave Las Vegas, Nevada.
Condolences may be sent to the family at 69803 Camino Pacifico Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 or emailed at [email protected].
We will miss Auntie Bess and she will be forever in our hearts. Rejoice in knowing
that Auntie Bess is with the Lord where separations be no more.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.palmcheyenne.com for the Eubank family.
