

Brad Edwards, age 53, passed away after a two-year struggle with cancer. Brad was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 17, 1964, a Saint Patty’s day baby! Las Vegas became his home in 1966. Brad graduated from Western High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Brad moved to Charlotte, NC and began his career in business. He worked as a depot manager for Carrier Rentals for over twenty years. Brad was a dedicated employee and continued to work throughout his illness. For those who knew Brad, he was happiest when he was hunting or fishing. Many memories of Brad shared by family and friends centered around his love for the outdoors. Brad is survived by his parents Lewis and Shirley Edwards of Las Vegas, NV; sisters Cathy Edwards and Karen Stanley (Bill) of Las Vegas, NV; and Cynthia Howard (Chris) of Amarillo, TX. Brad was loved by his nieces and nephews Ashley Koehlmoos (Travis), Travis Metoxen, Kaitlyn Stanley, Abigail Stanley, Kelsey Stanley, Colby Howard, Addison Howard, Maddison Koehlmoos, and Braxton Koehlmoos. He will be missed by many other family members and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at Canyon Ridge Christian Church in Las Vegas, NV at 12:30 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Nathan Adelson Hospice (nah.org) or the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org) in Brad’s name.
