Carolanne Gleed, of Las Vegas, passed away July 24, 2012. She was born Aug. 4, 1944, in Pasco, Wash. She graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City, in 1962. Carolanne married, then divorced, then married the love of her life, James Gleed in 1975. They shared over 36 years, worked side by side for many years and then retired in Las Vegas until he passed away in November 2011. Carolanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Gleed; parents, Leon and Lorraine Spercer; brothers, Roy L. Cox and Robert Cox; and stepdaughter, Suzan Merritt. She is survived by her stepson, James Bennett of Las Vegas; stepdaughter, Stephanie Schumann of Corona, Calif.; and several stepgrandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a prayer service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Palm Memorial Park, 1325 N. Main St., as Carolanne joins her beloved husband for eternity.
