Christopher Lee Thomas, 36, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away unexpectedly on March 5th, 2022.
Christopher was born into a military family on July 12th, 1985, at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, to Kenneth and Leonila Thomas. Christopher traveled the world with his family with homes in Missouri, Florida, California, Japan and Texas before settling in Las Vegas Nevada in 2003. He attended Mojave High School and after graduation, Christopher went into sales where he was recognized as top salesman in various cellular phone companies.
Kind, loving and selfless are all modest ways to describe Christopher’s character. Anybody that knew him, knew that his glowing smile and spirited laugh could light up any room. He was capable of creating everlasting memories through his profound (and sometimes inappropriate) sense of humor. In his mind and heart, his needs always came last, and the needs of those around him were exceeded by his generous efforts. As a result, those efforts ensured a happiness that most didn’t know they were missing. As he would say, “there’s enough to go around”. Christopher’s goofball and lighthearted attitude was enough to take the seriousness out of any situation or conversation and that made him memorable. With his presence, there was always something to smile about. The infectious smile, sense of humor, never ending kindness and selfless acts made Christopher who he is; one of the most lovable and sweetest souls. Because of this, his loving spirit will never be forgotten or overlooked and he will be remembered forever.
Chris is survived by his father, Kenneth D Thomas Jr., his mother, Leonila B Thomas, his sisters Christina and Jasmin, his niece, Milan and his nephews Declan and Quinn. Chris was preceded in death by his family’s pets Lucky, Cleo, Daisy and Bailey.
There will be a private ‘Family Moment’ with Christopher prior to his cremation. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Asthma and Allergy Relief Foundation, or the American Lung Association.
