It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our dear Cleman L. Chan. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and friend, who transcended to his eternal home on June 22, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on April 21, 1982, in Las Vegas, Nevada, he lived a life full of love, generosity, and quiet strength.
Growing up, Cleman was alongside his only sister, Kitty Chan (Sabatino). They shared everything—secrets, lessons and unconditional love under the care of their dedicated parents. After graduating from Durango High School in 2001, Cleman devoted his life to hard work and service as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier for 19 years. Despite extreme weather conditions, he always met his coworkers and the community with an uplifting smile and an infectious laugh.
Cleman shared a loving marriage and spiritual union of 15 years with Elaine Chan. Together, they raised two children in a home filled with love, laughter, and adventure. His unwavering support for his wife and family provided them with an abundant and fulfilling life. As a father, he instilled compassion, respect, and integrity in his children—values that will live on in his legacy.
His devoted soul and deep-rooted purpose to help others guided him to his faith in Dao. Cleman gave of himself unconditionally to everyone and anyone in need. He touched many lives through countless acts of selfless kindness, always most fulfilled when extending his love and support to others.
A gathering to celebrate and remember Cleman will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, between 7:00AM to 12:00PM at Palm Mortuary Northwest (located at 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131). The remembrance will start with a two-hour spiritual ceremony and visitation, followed by the service that will begin promptly at 9:30AM. We will come together to honor his life and carry on his legacy.
Fond memories and heartfelt condolences may be left for the Chan Family at www.palmnorthwest.com.
