D Stokes

Donnell was born on July 31st, 1981 in Far Rockaway Queens, New York to Joyce Stokes and Joe Daniels. He had four siblings - older brother LaShawn, older sister LaNea, younger sister Shenita, and younger sister Selena. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York with his siblings as well as his cousin and closest friend Dominique Miller. He found his soul mate and partner for life six years ago when he met Jessie Adams. They have two beautiful boys; Jaden born April 2010 and Dylan born March 2013.

Donnell joined the United States Air Force in August 2000 when he was 19 years old. He worked as a Personnelist and achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant. He served our country for nearly 13 years and was stationed at Offutt AFB in Nebraska; Vandenberg AFB in Lompoc, California; Djibouti Africa; and Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Donnell loved hip-hop, basketball, and sneakers. When he wasn’t at work he loved spending time at home with his family.

Donnell is survived by his wife Jessie Stokes, his sons Jaden and Dylan Stokes, his mother Joyce Stokes, his father Joe Daniels, and his four siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 12 pm on Friday, July 12th at Palm Mortuary in Las Vegas, Nevada.
