David John Snyder

David John Snyder,56, passed away November 30, 2016 . He was born April 7th, 1960 in Sioux City, Iowa at Lutheran Hospital. At the time of his death he resided in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife Vickie Mae (Anderson) Snyder. David served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for many years with Gateway 2000 as a computer technician. He also worked as an Ironworker and Truck Driver. David was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, cousin, nephew and friend. He would give the shirt off his back and the food of his table to help others, as he did in his final days. He was most proud of being a family man. David was preceded in death by his parents, Rowena (Webb) Snyder and Wendel “Butch” Snyder; and by his granddaughter, Myla Snyder; Grandparent's Albert & Francis Webb, John and Lois Snyder; Step grandfather, Robert Dickison; Uncles: James, Gary, Larry and John Webb, Joseph and Lawrence Snyder, Aunts; Lois Stidd, Mary Badberg, Sarah and Laura Webb, Mary Lou (Snyder) Neill; and many Loved ones. David is survived by his beloved wife, Vickie Mae Snyder: Children David Snyder II (Heather), Timothy Snyder (Amber), Jennifer Snyder, Nick Adimey (Liz) and Nathan Adimey; grandchildren: Kaeden, Maddie, Tanner, Kawika, David III, Denver, Bella and Amelia; his children’s mother, Kathy: Aunt, Wanda (Webb) McGready and husband Don of Bullhead City Arizona;Uncle, John Snyder of Rosalie Nebraska, Uncle, Tony and Carl Ueding of Omaha Nebraska, Aunt, Martha Webber of Chicago Illinois, Aunt, Cathy Schonrock of Sioux City, Iowa; and many loving cousins and nephews. David was an only child. However, David is survived by many whom he considered to be his brothers and sisters. Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm, Monday, December 12, 2016 at Desert Spring United Methodist Church, 120 Pavilion Center Dr. Las Vegas, Nevada 89144. Reception to follow.
