Dennis grew up in Lovington, Illinois and graduated from Lovington High. Dennis later attended Southern Illinois University where he received his Bachelor's Degree. Dennis served 4 years in the Air Force and was then commissioned as an Officer in the Army National Guard. He retired as a Captain after serving his country for 20 years. Dennis started his Social Security career in Des Plaines, IL then on to Arizona, Guam, and retired in Indio, CA after 30 years of serving the public. After retiring, Dennis helped numerous people with Social Security, Military, and financial issues.
Dennis was funny, sarcastic, great with one-liners, fun-loving, outspoken, ornery, witty, and loving. He had a great time playing Texas Hold'em and his poker name was "Gator". Dennis loved to talk. I don't think he ever met a stranger. He had a quirky laugh that was contagious. He had a love for life that not many people have.
