

On May 22, 2015 our beloved brother departed this world into the presence and loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Born Oct 15, 1944, the first of two sons, to parents James L. and Bernice L. Williams. Affectionately known as “Dee”, Dimitrois attended Westside Elementary, Madison Elementary Schools and on to graduate from Rancho High School in 1963. He was called to serve his country in 1956 in the U.S. Army, and attaining the rank of S/SGT and later being honorably discharging in 1967. In 1967, he began working at the Nevada Test Site as a timekeeping clerk for REECO and on to becoming an apprentice Heavy Duty Repairman. In 1968, he became a member of the IBEW local 357 and had a significate career as a proud union journeyman wireman. He worked the majority of his career at the NTS for REECO, as a wireman, wireman foreman and supervisor and as a wireman for Bechtel and NSTEC until his recent retirement. In 1976, Dee heard the truth of our Lord and began attending Bible School. With knowledge of God’s word and receiving Jesus Christ into his heart as his personal Lord and Savior, he was always ready and eager the share God’s plan of salvation with all he met until his passing. He truly loved the Lord as was evident in his giving to the Lord, to others and especially to the Lord’s chosen people, Israel. He loved Israel.
Dee’s passing was preceded by his parents and sister Janice Proctor. He leaves two sons, Dimitrois (Lil’Dee) Williams and Tracy Reid. His brothers, Ronnie Williams, Craton Wattree Jr., Lindsey Wattree/Angie. His sisters, Vivian Worrell/Earvin, Francine Banks, Kemala Washington/Al and Martha (Cookie)Moton/Bay. His long time friends and loyal confidants and trusted sisters in the Lord, Robbin Roby, Paulina Aching and Inge Robinson-Williams, and a host of grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends. Visitation at Palm Mortuary at 7400 W. Cheyenne on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Services at 10:00 am, June 5, 2015. Internment at Woodlawn Cemetery. A hospitality reception will follow at the Palms West Campus at 7400 W. Cheyenne.
