Dinah Dorado de Luna

May 14, 1951 – September 29, 2025

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Dinah Dorado De Luna, who left this world on September 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born on May 14, 1951, Dinah lived a life marked by love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Huberto Vicuna De Luna, who preceded her in death on January 23, 2014.

Dinah is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Najafi and Lara De Luna; her sons-in-law, Vahid Najafi and Jeffrey Rattanong, who lovingly helped care for her in her later years; and her cherished grandchildren, Julie Anne Quidilla, Ariel Quidilla, Luciano Miguel Batuto, and Atoosa Najafi, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her loving sister, Cleopatra Hartmann.

Dinah was sassy, funny, strong-willed, and endlessly kind-hearted. She adored her dogs, Mia and Tia, and had a deep love for animals. Music and singing filled her heart, and her voice and laughter will echo in the memories of those she leaves behind. She was also a girls’ girl through and through—she loved jewelry, purses, and all the little luxuries that made her shine all the more brightly.

She was also a fighter. Despite enduring many health challenges in her later years, Dinah’s strength and determination continued to inspire her family. Her loved ones believe she held on as long as she did to witness her family come together, especially the reunion of her daughters.

Dinah’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and joy. She loved her family fiercely and cared deeply for others.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, her strength, and her extraordinary capacity to give. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will remain alive in the lives of those she touched. Her family believes this is not goodbye, but farewell until later. They take comfort in knowing she is in the arms of our Father in heaven, reunited with her beloved husband, Huberto De Luna.

A visitation for Dinah will be held Monday, October 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - South Jones, 1600 South Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM.
