Dona Gene Nelson Davis, 90, of Las Vegas passed away Monday, April 18th. She was born January 31, 1926 to William Cottam Nelson and Zina Y Cutler in Ogden, Utah, and was a 48 year resident of Las Vegas Nevada. She married her high school sweetheart, Max D Davis May 10th, 1944 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by sons Craig Davis (Martha), and Max Davis (Linda) and daughters Sherie Schwendiman (Randy) and Toni Watts, 18 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. She had lost both of her parents by the time she was 16, but that seemed to make her stronger and more independent. She was active in the LDS Church, never wavering, and served others tirelessly. She was loved by all who knew her and her home was always open for those who needed a place to stay. She was fiery and full of life but always willing to help anyone in need and will be missed by so many who love her. Visitation will be Friday April 22, at Palm Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd from 5-7. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am at the LDS Church, 3400 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102
