

Dona Eisher, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 86, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering strength. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Iowa, Dona embraced the heartland mindset with a no-nonsense approach to life. A strong-willed woman with a meticulous personality, she embodied the qualities of loyalty, discipline, and commitment in everything she did. Her structured, Type A personality made her an anchor to those who knew her, always leading by example with kindness and determination.
Dona was the epitome of dedication, particularly to her family. She shared 32 years of love and adventure with her devoted husband, Lee, who stood by her side through many travels and memories. Together, they explored the world, visiting destinations such as England, France, Australia, and Canada, creating countless memories along the way. Dona’s love for her family extended to her thoughtful, never-missed birthday cards, always ensuring that those she loved felt cherished.
A woman of many talents, Dona enjoyed a wide range of hobbies, from needlepoint sewing and tole painting to crafting seasonal projects and golfing. She was a true sports enthusiast, especially when it came to her unwavering support for the Chicago Cubs—her passion for the game was infectious, and she was always their #1 fan. Dona also enjoyed playing basketball, showcasing the same competitive spirit she carried throughout her life.
Dona’s professional journey began in 1961 when she joined law enforcement. Her commitment to service was evident in her career, and in 1988, she retired as Deputy County Marshal in Chino, California. After retirement, she worked as a travel agent for ten years, continuing to share her love for exploration and helping others create their own memorable adventures.
Dona will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend—a woman whose strength, love, and dedication left a lasting.
Dona is preceded in passing by her husband Lee Eisher; parents Frank and Irene Audas; and siblings Eldon Audas, Eunice Saylor, Max Audas and Don Audas.
Dona is survived by her children Dennis Eisher, Barbara Loomis and Douglas Eisher; grandchildren Eric Eisher, Lauren Eisher, Evan Eisher, Darren Den Hartog and David Den Hartog; great grandchildren Alyssa Den Hartog, Madysen Holden and Hunter Holden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
