Donna was born on May 25, 1940 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Her parents were Donald and Elizabeth Goudy. Donna was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She had a younger sister, Pamela. On December 3, 1964 Donna exchanged wedding vows with Le Roy Reckling, Jr. at the Christ Edmondson Methodist Church of Baltimore, Maryland. Donna was attentive to Le Roy's feelings, and she charmed Le Roy and others with her gift for being able to give freely and generously. A good listener with an engaging personality, Donna was able to bring pleasure and unexpected humor to the relationship. Donna was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of Donna’s favorites was CB, a cat and Panda, a dog. They were best friends for CB for 19 years and Panda for 14 years. Donna passed away on August 3, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Donna fought a battle against cancer. She is survived by her husband, Le Roy and sister, Pamela.
