Eleanor D McKay, a longtime resident of Las Vegas met her heavenly father and was reunited with the love of her life on 1 February 2019. Eleanor was born 30 January 1937 in North Carolina. Her parents were Hubert and Ethel of Greenville, North Carolina.
She was the love of a lifetime to James McKay who preceded her in death two years ago on the same date. After she graduated from high school in 1954 she attended nursing school and graduated in 1958. She served as a registered nurse for several years. She also worked in the home.
She is survived by her sister, Phyllis, daughters Diane, Jackie, Jo, Jamie, Tina, Candy, and Jenny, as well as 5 Son in laws. She also treasured her 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She also had “adopted daughters” that were always claimed as children.
Eleanor was an avid collector. She loved to collect salt and pepper shakers from all over the world.
She was known to most as Nana, some as G-Nana and others just as Mom. She will be missed by her family and friends and extended family.
