My mentor and dear dear friend- I’ll never forget our trip to Jericho and the store we stopped in. You have such a beautiful spirit!!

What can we say about Elizabeth that anyone who knew her doesn’t already know? She was sweet, kind, funny and inspiring. She had a life story that made you feel like you needed to crank things up a notch. You couldn’t help but love her after being around her for five minutes.  Her sense of humor was so refreshing too. She made us laugh so many times. The first time she went on hospice I talked to her and at one point she said, “Hospice is sending me home because I won’t die!” We still think about that here and there and just chuckle. She truly had no fear of death from what I could tell. She was so secure in her faith in Yeshua.  The Bible speaks of angels walking among us and I wonder if she was one. She was a true blessing and a wonderful person. We love her and will miss her greatly but we have hope that we will see her again. We pray for God’s comfort to be with John and Cathy and everyone who knew Elizabeth. Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with such a sweet soul of a woman.  She truly was a great example and one of a kind.

I remember meeting Elizabeth at the Eastern Plains Women's Conference planning committee. She offered a Hebrew Roots study at the conference.  It changed my life. God used you to open my eyes to His wonderful instructions. No matter how many or how few attended your Saturday morning study, you were always grateful. You were never concerned about numbers, but always trusted the Father to bring who He wanted. You were a great example of walking in the Spirit. Looking forward to seeing you again in the Kingdom.

How many ways can I say I love you, Betty?  You are a treasure and I will never forget all your encouraging words to me.

No problem for Betty on the Trail of the Cedars at Glacier Park, MT!  She even brought her own bear spray!

One of Betty's favorite verses:  1Ch 29:11

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.

Betty was a pillar of faith.  Nothing flustered her, and through all her various challenges in life, she had absolute trust in her savior, Yeshua the Messiah, that everything was going to work out for good.  She learned how to REST in the mighty hands of Yeshua.

I will carry on your legacy, Betty.  You have thrown your mighty torch to all of us and we will carry forward the Gospel just as you did in a mighty way.

How many people can you stuff into a tree trunk?  We laughed so hard getting this done!

Dear Elizabeth,
My shining star is lighting up heaven, and will always be in my heart. So thankful we stayed in touch through the years as we both moved to different states.
No words could adequately describe my precious Elizabeth...teacher extraordinaire, close knit friend, advisor, encourager, comedian, and an atmosphere changer.... Thank you, Elizabeth, for enhancing my life.

What a fun trip to Juan’s Flaming Fajitas we had! Everyone was in such good spirits, and speaking of spirits G Ma had two margaritas while we were there! The last dinner I shared with G Ma, and it was a good one! So glad we made it out there during spring break so Yen and G Ma could meet! We love and miss you G Ma!
