It’s honestly so difficult to believe I haven’t seen, heard, talked, or hugged you in over a year. It still breaks my heart thinking about how suddenly my world changed when God called you home. The only thing that brings me any peace, is that you are no longer suffering and you are in the most wonderful place. Today is a difficult day for sure. I know you are watching down on little squish. I see her just looking and laughing and smiling, I know you are there making her laugh. Rylee is 18 months old, you’d be so tickled with how smart she is..( I say. Mimi taught her everything) I’ve only got two more biology classes and I can apply to the nursing program. I so selfishly still wish you were here on earth. Miss and love you always. ❤️

It's been nine months, and I miss you deeply. All I do is cry because I love and miss you so much. I feel like I can't handle life without you, and I'm forcing myself to smile.

Isabelle turned 7 months today. Time is going by fast and it really makes you think. She loves the panda. She likes how soft it is. She tries to eat it.  We love and miss you.

Missing you baby  my nights are not the same... I can't get used to it.. My heart is broken...

Isabelle is almost 3 months old on the 26th and it makes me wish time went by slower cause that means soon it’s gonna be 3 months without you. A lot of stuff has changed since you have been gone. I still have the sugar scrubs I’ve barely used them. I don’t want to at times since there are the last Christmas gift I got from you.  The cats still really enjoy the cat toys you got for them. It’s all I hear in the middle of the night them playing with them. My one cat tater tot my goodness he will run after it down and up the hall way.  I miss you.

Missing you so much, but I’ve been trying to keep myself busy, just like you told me I should if anything ever happened to you. You were right, for once—hah—but the tears won’t stop.

I finished another one of our songs. I put so much soul into it, just like I know you would love for this type of song. I’m going to put it on all platforms because I know that’s what you would tell me to do.

And guess what? You made it to iHeart Radio! Well, not you, babe, but the song I wrote for you, “Where You Used to Be.” It makes me cry every time, but so many people love it. You knew it would happen, didn’t you? Isn’t it so cool? Thank you for always believing in me and making me your number one—after our Father, of course. The love we have is unreal, even after death. I still feel your love near me.

This one is called “Closer to you and it has so much soul, just like I know you’d like.

I just wish you could have heard it after I put the music to it. I know you’d be so happy.

I can’t stop writing since you’ve been gone because if I do, I just listen to sad songs and cry all day. It’s so sad here without you, but I hold onto the faith that I know I’ll be with you again someday. Oh, and the darn car light went out again—hah, some things never change.

One of your favorite pictures of us—I made it so we’re hugging. It’s so cute. I’m keeping on writing and doing all the things I know you’d support me in. Oh, and my song, “If Heaven Had a Phone,” people are really loving it. “Jesus Looks Good on Me” is another one I know you’d be singing around the house.

And guess what? I found all my children’s books I ever published in your stuff. You’re so cute—my biggest fan— but how did you purchase them without me knowing, I love you.

Oh grandpa, how I miss you so much. When I am at MiMis house and I see your picture on display I am always trying to reach for you so you can pick me up. Me and mama miss you so much. I try to keep Mimi distracted so she isn’t crying. You should hear the beautiful, heartfelt songs she writes about you. All the songs she creates really embody who you are grandpa. Look grandpa, I’m eating food food now! You would have loved to show me new things. I am always thinking about you and I will continue to keep Mimi, mama, Zac, Alicia, and Bella laughing and smiling as much as I can. Mimi taught me how to wave and I just say hello to everyone! I love you grandpa and I miss you always.

I miss you so much still and that’s not gonna go away any time soon. I always am wondering what you are doing in heaven. I keep thinking about our last few converstations and it hurts. I didn’t give u a hug  but I randomly all of a sudden wanted to go in the back room to see you. I was holding her but u were about to head into the kitchen so I went back into the living room thinking I’d have another chance, but I didn’t. I’m not sure if it was that day you took your last photo of us but u had the biggest smile on your face. Our last hug was after u were talking about video games with me and what Alejandro liked and what games we liked to play. I regret not going into the back room as often to say hello but I knew you had your good and your bad days and I figured you’d want a lil space when you are in pain. I’m writing this crying in my car after dropping off Alejandro at work because If I hadn’t of moved I would be at grandmas. I would go there almost every day. I’d stay there until I had to go pick him up.  Things are not the same anymore and I don’t like it.

The hardest part of today was singing happy birthday and I couldn’t even sing it without crying.  We got the cake you liked. Your favorite color. Grandma made some of your favorite foods like crinkle cut fries and some wings. I hope you had a great birthday up in heaven.  We miss you.

It’s been a month since you past and it still doesn’t feel real.  At least a few times a day my brain goes over the last time I gave you a hug and what we talked about. I should have hugged you so much tighter and talked to you longer. I am so glad after I gave birth I came over almost daily like I did before I gave birth so you could see her a few times.  I miss you. It’s not the same going to grandmas and you not being in your spot. It feels wrong to sit in your spot knowing you aren’t coming home. This all feels very wrong and like a very bad dream but it’s reality. I don’t think I will ever get over this. I have so much regret.

It feels like just yesterday we were kids, running through the fields and dreaming about the endless possibilities ahead of us. Emanuel was not just a friend; he was a brother, a confidant, and an inspiration to everyone who knew him.

Emanuel had an infectious laugh that could light up any room. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he always put others before himself. Whether we were facing challenges or celebrating triumphs, Emanuel stood by my side with unwavering support and encouragement.

One of my fondest memories of Emanuel is the time we spent fishing by the old creek. We would talk for hours about our dreams, our fears, and our plans for the future. I’m here again writing something because I miss you. When I was pregnant I had an idea of having people writing my child a letter for them to open when they turn 18. I was gonna have people do it at the baby shower ,however that never came to light for whatever reason. I regret not doing it now. My main reason for wanting to do it was because people won’t be here forever.  It makes me wonder what you would have wrote to her. What kind of wisdom you would have shared. How long you would have wrote. If it would have been pages of advice you would have gave her. I’m just stuck wondering and guessing. I miss you so much grandpa. I wish I spent more time with you. I hope you knew how much I appreciated you.

I first met Emanuel Gunter many years ago when he worked at Falling Rock Nemacolin. From the moment we crossed paths, I knew I had found a true friend. Emanuel had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, and his kindness and generosity were unmatched. We shared countless memories together, from late-night conversations to unforgettable adventures. Emanuel's unwavering support and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone around him. He was not just a friend, but a brother, and his spirit will forever live on in our hearts. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be deeply missed.

Emanuel Gunter was a man who touched my heart in ways that words can hardly capture. He was the kind of person you don't meet every day—a true Godsend. Whenever I needed help, he was there, always ready to lend a hand. Even though I hadn't spoken with him in a while, his presence in my life was unforgettable.

Emanuel was a hard worker and an exceptional butler, which is how I first met him. But beyond his professional skills, he was a kind soul who always spoke with pride about his wife and children. The last time I talked to him, he said, "God got me," and he was right—God now has him in His care.

To Emanuel's wife, whom I never had the pleasure of meeting, I want to extend my deepest condolences. I heard so much about you that it felt as if I knew you. Please know that Emanuel loved you deeply, and his memory will forever be cherished.

I miss you a lot. It took me so long to write something cause it hurts having to admit you are gone.  You have done so much for me.  I remember the last time I gave you a hug. I should have hugged you a lil tighter and talked to you a lil longer if I knew you’d be gone so soon.  You knew a lot about everything and I could talk to you about everything.  I could go on about a lot but the thing is when I was pregnant I found myself praying a lot. In my prayers at night I’d include you. I’d pray for your health to be better and for you to have a good day. You made me have a stronger relationship with god and I thank you for that.   I wanted you to at least meet my daughter and you did.  Just wasn’t expecting you to be taken so soon. She was just two weeks when you left but she will forever know you.  I can say so much more but I don’t wanna ramble. I miss you a lot and I wish you were here.

It is hard to find the right words in a moment like this, but I want to share just a small piece of who he was to me. 
 He came into my life when I was just little and from the very beginning, he treated me like his own. He did not just step in to fill a role; he became my dad. He showed me what it meant to be a true father, not just by blood, but by choice, by love, and by action. 

One thing that stands out about him more than anything else is his generosity. If you needed something, whether it was advice, a helping hand, or even just someone to listen, he was there. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it—literally and figuratively. That kind of kindness is rare, and I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced it firsthand. 
He was not just a father to me; he was also my friend. I always knew I could turn to him when I needed guidance, whether it was for something serious or just to talk about life. He was there when I needed help with school, especially when I was struggling with my homework or feeling frustrated with my grades. He never made me feel like I was failing; instead, he was there with encouragement, with patience, and with wisdom. He made sure I knew that mistakes were just part of growing, and he helped me see the bigger picture. 
Looking back, it is the small things I’ll miss the most—his steady presence, his advice, and the way he could always make me laugh, even when things were tough. He taught me the value of hard work, the importance of giving to others, and most of all, the power of love and support. I am who I am today because of the love and guidance he gave me. He helped shape me into a better person, and for that, I will always be grateful. 
Though he may not be with us physically, I know his spirit, his lessons, and his love will continue to guide me. I will carry those with me for the rest of my life. 
Just because you are blood, doesn't mean you are family.

Emanuel, a truly selfless soul who would give the shirt off his back to help others. Emanuel's love for his wife and family was boundless, and he cherished the extended family that God placed in his path. Though not related by blood, he loved them deeply. I am honored to have been part of his life, sharing countless conversations about everything, especially his favorite subjects: God and his beloved wife. Emanuel's work ethic was like no other. This is my dad. I've loved him since I was 11 years old. He was there for me when I was lost in life. He was there for me when I was pregnant and had my daughter.  He never judged what I did in life.  He was the best thing for my mom. My mom and dad had a love so big I wish I could find one just like it. He made me laugh when we was in the car just driving to work. I'll miss him so much. He was just the best person. he will be remembered as a man of faith and love.  I will miss him with every beat of my heart.  I love you so much dad it hurts. ❤️

There are way too many memories I have of you and our 25 years of knowing each other. You’ve been the father every girl should have. You have always supported me through everything in life, even when you didn’t agree. There is such a huge void in my life. I never imagined my life without you and I still can’t.  I have been so blessed for the years I got to spend with you and the 6 months your Rylee girl got to know her papa. She loves you so much. The world is less bright without you in it. Please always watch over us and visit us. I will never not need you. They say time heals everything but, I’m not convinced. I know you’re in heaven, pain free, dancing with the angels.
