Emery S. Robertson, Jr. a retired United States Army Colonel passed away on September 20, 2016 at the age of 92. He was born on January 24, 1924 in Chicago, Il and had been a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada since 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Iva Robertson; his dear departed wife, Dora Lee Robertson; sisters, Audrey Wilson and Marjorie Robertson; and brothers, Harold, Clyde and Paul Robertson. Emery is survived by his sons, Mark (Susan) Robertson and Frank Robertson; daughter, Bethany (Jon) Heinlen; grandchildren, Bronwyn (Dave) Lawler, Ian (Kristen) Knox, and Joseph Robertson; great-grandchild, Regan Lawler; and his caregivers, Sally Edlis and Amanda Salazar. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday, October 21 at 2pm at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89146.
