Eric A. Gore

Eric Allen Gore was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Eric will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

He was the son of Allen and Kim Gore. Eric grew up in Illinois, Tucson, California and Nevada.

As a young boy, Eric had a number of interests. Like most children, he enjoyed playing and making up games. He was curious about the world around him and was often eager to explore it. Eric was an active child who took part in any kind of biking, especially dirt bikes! In his spare time he liked drawing and as always bikes. Eric's memorable achievements include being a BMX racing champion. However, to Eric the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with his friends.

Always considered a “good” friend to those he knew, Eric enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during his lifetime. While growing up, one of his best friends and brother was Nick Utterback.

Fortunately, Eric enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Eric worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. His primary occupation was as a carpenter and an architect, He was great at anything. He was employed for over half of his life. Eric was always a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.

Eric enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were dirt bikes, street bikes and sports cars: more specifically Porsche. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.

Eric passed away on October 23, 2011 at UMC Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his parents Allen and Kim Gore and his wife Susie.

Simply stated, Eric was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being caring and giving. He will always be someone who is a vital part of their lives. Eric leaves behind a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Eric Allen Gore.
