Born on April 25, 1945, in Ahuachapán El Salvador to Andres Perdomo and Transito Viana, Estela was raised with five siblings that would help to shape her tenacity and moral compass. As she loved, so was she loved. This is especially true for those that surrounded her.
Lively, full of love, with zest she consumed all life had to offer. Estela was known for her strong will and even stronger heart. Her opinion was always shared with gusto – her intent always to guide. Her love for family, friends, and faith was a welcome beacon for all.
Estela was a seamstress and blessed to be married to Jorge Espinoza as much as Jorge was blessed to be married to Estela. She cherished and lived for family, holidays, and family gatherings! Providing for her children and grandchildren and instilling strong moral traits were the examples she lived.
Estela greatly enjoyed gardening; a strong love of flowers and faith in what God would provide in her garden brought her joy. Her garden, designed to bring birds, especially hummingbirds, was always teeming with life. Her garden was often inspired by what she saw when traveling. One of her often-shared stories was of her gratitude for travelling. Whether a trip to Home Depot or a road trip to Texas, or travel abroad, the adventure of travel was always appreciated when it was with those she loved. If you were not paying attention, you might have missed some of Estela’s humor. Being short in stature, traveling in a small car often inhibited her view while traveling. She influenced Jorge to buy a big pick-up truck so she could ride above the road and see all the world had to offer from the passenger window. To help Jorge fit the role of ‘pick-up truck driver’ she bought him a pair of boots claiming it made the view inside as nice as outside! Estela will be forever loved and missed!
Estela was preceded in death by her mother Transito Ruano, son Julio-Cesar Espinoza, and her sister Kety Somoza. She is survived by her spouse Jorge Espinoza, brother Cesar, sisters Evita, Lupita, & Lety, daughter Georgina, sons Juan Carlos & Maury, and many, many grand and great grandchildren.
The Rite of Committal for Estela Espinoza will be held on Friday, October 31, at Palm Northwest Cemetery 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131 at 3:00 PM
