Evelin Bernita Young was born in Rockford, IL on March16,1942 to the late Mary Jane Rouse and Carl Livingston Rouse. She later moved to Hayti, MO where she attended Central High School and graduated in 1960. While living in Missouri she worked at the local Grocery Store as a Meat Processor, which she truly enjoyed doing. Then later moved to California in 1991 where she continued to do the same line of work and care for her family.
Although Evelin didn’t have any children of her own, she was a Mother to many. As she relished in assisting her brother (Marion Earl Rouse) with raising her Nieces and Nephews.
Evelin enjoyed the Bible and developed a love for Crossword Puzzles & Game Shows, which she would watch in her down time. She also liked listening to music and going to the Casino from time to time.
Evelin has Three Siblings 2-Brothers and 1-Sister, Two which proceeded her in death (Carl Livingston Rouse Jr., and Mattie Mae Jackson) She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her dearly beloved Brother and Best Friend Marion Earl Rouse. Along with a host of Nieces & Nephews and other Relatives & Friends.
