Evelyn Carole Phillips Miller

Vegas, Nevada. Born in July 1935 in Frankfurt, Indiana, to the late Eugene and Alma Culp Evelyn was the youngest of three children all of which have preceded her in death. She spent most of her youth on the beaches of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, after moving there from Indiana in 1947

Evelyn met and married her late husband, Larry Leonard Phillips. in 1954 in Honolulu, Hawaii. They met in a nightclub on Waikiki Beach when Larry’s friends bet, he couldn't get a date with the beautiful dancer. He, in fact, got the date and married that beautiful dancer three months later. Together: they had six children; two of whom preceded them in death.

In 1990, Evelyn and Larry retired to Las Vegas, Nevada where they enjoyed o full life of friends and fun. Evelyn was crowned Mrs. Senior Cark County in 1995, Mrs. Senior Nevada in 1996, and placed 12th in Mrs. Senior America 1996. She had a zest tor life and loved the spotlight, performing in many dance exhibitions and stage plays with her friends in the Del Webb community in Summerlin, Nevada,

Evelyn and Larry were married for 53 years until Larry passed away in 2007. She later met and married Keith Miller in 2013,

Phillips of Las Vegas, Nevada; Michael Phillips of Ashburn Virginia; Jan LeBeau of Moorpark, California; and Jeffrey Phillips of Las Vegas She will be dearly missed by her seven grandchildren: Robert Phillips, Courtney Phillips, Brittney Phillips, Jordan Coy, Samantha Phillips, Jennifer Rattray, Jessica Unger and 10 great-grandchildren. It was Evelyn's wishes to have a private family interment.
