Fernando was born on October 18, 1952, in El Paso, TX, where he spent his formative years. He attended Ysleta High School and went on to proudly serve 22 years in the United States Air Force. Throughout his career, “Leddy” was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Fernando was a devoted husband, daddy and grandpa. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sharing stories, playing outdoors, and helping to repair or organize everything.
Fernando is survived by his loving wife, Elsa, his 4 daughters, 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Air Force Aid Society. https://afas.org/
