Frances M. Myrick, age 78, of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Las Vegas. Born May 1, 1935 in Fairfield, California, she moved to Las Vegas in 1974. Mrs. Myrick worked with Granite Gaming Group for over twenty years, retiring in May of this year. She loved to bowl and was a treasurer for the Women's Bowling Association in Las Vegas and enjoyed reading a good mystery. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Coy, son Rod (Frances) Myrick, grandchildren Leeann (Jesse) Hartlauerand Kaelyn (Chris) Coddington and great granddaughter Reagan, three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26 from 3-6pm with services beginning at 6pm, all at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will take place at 9:20 Friday, December 27 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
