How do you convey your thoughts and feelings about someone you cared about so deeply.  My Uncle Frank was a very unique man and truly a "One-of-a-kind."  He cared about everyone and was a kind, generous man, who always was willing to take time for you.    One of his most endearing qualities was his uncanny ability to tell a good story or joke, and he was one of the best at it.  I remember the "Garnetti Hotel" was open and accommodating to many who crossed their doorstep, I for one being one of those fortunate people, when Uncle Frank and Aunt Helen offered me a "home" when I got out of the military and started my testing to get hired as police officer.  I looked forward to "coming home", because Uncle Frank was anxious for me to tell him what had happened on my shift, since mine was a city where I shared many funny stories with him.  We hold certain memories many of which are public, but some more private and personal.  One I have and will remember about my Uncle Frank was when we were all living in Compton, and a few doors away from each other.  My cousins, Nick, Dave, my brother Gabe and I were running across Acacia Street from our house towards theirs.  I tripped up and fell to the street and cut my left knee pretty deep.  I remember two parts of that injury....first, Uncle Frank carrying me into the hospital and second, looking over me while I was laying down with my knee getting stitches and telling me everything was going to be okay and he would be there to make sure and take me home. I was 4 years old then, and now 58 still have that scar and those vivid memories of his true heartfelt caring for me.  Some of the most amazing and wonderful memories remain with us, and this one will be with me as well.  I will forever miss my Uncle Frank and will think of him often, as I do my Aunt Helen. Though I left CA when I was 13, uncle Frank's memory was always one of a man who was larger than life. His smile, his laugh and how I knew I was loved whenever in his presence never faded. My fondest memory was when we lived next door and he snuck me out of my house when I was supposed to be napping to play in the pool with David and Nick. I didn't need a nap, I needed to be having fun. He was my hero. My heart goes out to all of his family as I know he was this to all of you as well and the loss is painful but having be separated for years I can tell you the memories remain strong and joyous.

My prayers and love go out to all your family. Frank was a wonderful, kind, generous and loving man. Always laughing and happy. He touched many people in his life. I was blessed to have known him and to share in the love of his beautiful family. He will be missed. My prayers are with all of you at this time.

Christmas Eve was not the same this year. So many memories of us surrounded my day and of the many times you would hint at what I was getting for Christmas. Your smile and spirit for life, overwhelming love for your family is something you taught each of us. You showed us the TRUE meaning of life, love and family. Where do I begin.. My father in-law Frank was the kindest and most loving man ever.  He loved his family with his whole heart, loved his wife Helen and those boys whom are now men with families of their own. He loved his grandkids and great grandbabies with everything he had.  The smile he had lit up a room, and the stories over the years he shared with us all, not once, but many will stay with us forever.  His spirit for life was remarkable, he loved hard, played hard, lived life to the fullest.  He was gentle, but strong and shared all he had with his family. He bestowed his values of life and family upon his boys and they are a fine example of everything their father was. He loved Helen with all he had and more.  I love you Frank, and I know your faith has you dancing in heaven waiting for the day we can all join you and be together again.

Even tho I didn't get to spend much time with Mariano..I Loved him so very much...I remember all the fun Sunday's at his parent's house in Compton quite a bit when I was just a young child and he would alway's be there laughing and playing with us..He was a older cousin..but he made us alway's feel Loved..I will miss you my dear cousin..Rest with the Angel's until we all see each other again..

Daddy I am sure if he knew would just be heartbroken to know of his brothers passing. We have chosen not to tell him at this time.  He loved him very much and spoke of him often.

Dear Aunt Helen and family,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for the loss of Uncle Frank. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.  I will miss him dearly and am deeply saddened by his passing.  Please tell everyone that I will hold them in my heart.
