Frank James Oprzedek, age 79, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Frank was born June 20, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Resided in Norridge, Illinois until he retired in Las Vegas.
Beloved husband to Anne Marie Oprzedek (Conforti), loving father to Gina Oprzedek, Sheila (Dirk) Puffenberger, and Frank Michael Oprzedek, dearest grandfather to Grant Puffenberger.
Also survived by brothers and sisters Kenneth Operzedek, Marion (James) Nowakowski, Joanne (late Louis) Winkler, James Oprzedek, and Edward (Thea) Oprzedek and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Frank was a Ham radio operator (K9JDV) since he was 14 years old. He communicated with people all over the world. Frank graduated from Saint Rita high school and from DePaul University. Frank had a long career as an accountant at the State of Illinois building downtown Chicago.
Frank enjoyed bowling and participated in leagues for many years. He also took on the hobby of golf and enjoyed golfing with friends in Las Vegas.
