

Freddie Montoya, born on October 19, 1929, in Las Tusas, New Mexico, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 96. A resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Freddie was a retired Air Force veteran who took great pride in his military service.
He was married to Cookie, with whom he shared a life filled with travel and adventure, including four memorable trips driving to Alaska. Freddie was a man of diverse interests; he loved animals, dancing, gambling, and enjoying champagne brunches. His fondness for ice cream and corn on the cob was well known, as was his talent for being a handyman, always engaged in projects around the house.
Freddie was a very kind man who loved people and always did his best. His legacy is one of warmth and dedication to family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Cookie, his son Freddy, and daughter Stella. He also leaves behind his sister Alice, three granddaughters, Whitney, Tanya, and Brooke, and four grandsons, including Zach. Alfredo was predeceased by his sister, Juanita.
Freddie Montoya will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
