Gary Lavell Boyter

Our loving father, son, brother, grandfather and friend died August 5, 2023, peacefully at home. Born to James Philo and Alta Jones Boyter on October 5, 1935, in Beaver, Utah. He was married to Coleen Hancock on September 5, 1964, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his wife owned and operated gas stations & Shifty's lounge in Las Vegas over the years. He served in the National Guard with an honorable discharge from the President. He also served on the Aero Squadron, Sheriff Search and Rescue.

Gary enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, camping, boating and four wheeling at the sand dunes with family and friends. He had a fun sense of humor and was an amazing gentle man and hard worker.

He is survived by longtime girlfriend Pam Pam Orlando and children Gary P. & Dorene Boyter and Sabrina Daniels, Sharee Davis of Salt Lake City, Jerry & Jan Boyter, David & Susan Boyter, Chrishonna & Jaye Strough of Las Vegas, Turea & Douglas Alford of Lubbock Tx. And by 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Las Vegas Viewing will be at Palm. Mortuary 7400 W Cheyenne Friday the 11th from 4-7PM.

Utah Viewing will be at Southern Utah Mortuary at 195 N 200 W in Beaver, Utah on the 18th from 5-7PM

Funeral services will be held at LDS church at 220 N Main Street in Beaver, Utah on the 19th of August at 9:30 am. Family prayer and closing of the casket will take place at 9am.

Interment will be at the Mt. View Cemetery, Beaver, Utah.
