Gary W. Reese was born in Hyrum, Utah March 26, 1923. He was an 88- year resident of Las Vegas. Gary died March 11, 2012 at Nathan Adelson Hospice. He served in World War II with the U.S. Air Force as a B-24 bomber pilot and was later recalled for service in the Korean conflict. After he returned home, he went to work at the Clark County Sheriff's office as a deputy. He was co-owner of Key Adjustment Insurance Agency, until he took the job as deputy chief of intelligence and Investigations for the state Gaming Control Board, where he worked until his retirement. Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife, of 64 wonderful years, Ruth Reese. He is survived by his two children, Grady Reese and Jana Robertson, both of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Jason Reese of Marquette, Mi. and Breeann Robertson of Las Vegas. He had one great-grandson, Keegan Michael. Visitation will be at noon, Wednesday, March 14, with funeral services following at 1 p.m., both at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Gary will truly be missed. Arrangements under the direction of Palm South Jones Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
