Our beloved Gary William Watson lost his 18 month fight with cancer at the tender age of 60 on May 10, 2014. Gary was born on March 6, 1954 in Colorado City, Texas. He is survived by his longtime life partner of over 32 years of marriage, Kathy Watson. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Kayla Chaddock and Tiffany Ann Watson. Gary was adopted and raised by his beloved grandfather, Lester Watson (deceased) and grandmother, Pearl Watson (deceased). Gary leaves behind his father, Joe Taylor and stepmother, Angie Taylor, numerous relatives, countless friends, his best friend, Kenny Morris, and BF/TLC. Gary had been working in the oil field in Texas when he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in September 1977 as a driller at the Nevada National Security Site (formerly the Nevada Test Site) until January 1990. He loved playing his steel guitar in his band, Southern Accent, around the Las Vegas area, enjoyed hunting, and fishing. Memorial services will be Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
