I know God will keep him very close to him in heaven and guard you too, specially in this Christmas time. We are sorry for your last, but it is not only your last  George all of the Polish family in Las Vegas we we'll miss him very much. Hi was amazing person it we'll always stay with me his great personality and love and help to all of us.

I met George when my mother Danuta and I came to the United States as refugees in the early 1980s. I was only 7 years old. We were adjusting to life in a new country, and this was a difficult time for us. George and Mary opened their home and their hearts to us. They gave us a place to live, helped my mother find a job, and provided assistance in so many ways. George is like a grandfather to me. We are connected not through blood but through a bond of friendship. George is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He helped countless people, and he did so selflessly. George lived through WWII and endured many hardships, but that only made him more selfless. He was a friend to everyone. George loved Mary very much, and I loved to see them together. I consider myself fortunate to have met George. I loved him very much, and I will miss him dearly. He will remain forever in my heart.

George was an extraordinary person. A person, who will never be forgotten and will always have a special place in our hearts. 
We met George, like many others, in need of his services and built a friendship from that moment on. His wife May is as wonderful. They both made us feel like part of their family. 
It is extremely hard to say 'Goodbye' to a person like George, but we must believe that his accomplishments will live through us forever. He gave us a wonderful example of a loving person, a true friend, a dedicated husband, a hero, and a patriot. 
Rest in peace, George. We love you. We will miss you...

George Kielak - my Godfather for 64 years - affectionately known as Uncle George and Aunt Mary, my Godmother are two of the most wonderful people you will ever meet. I remember when they would come visit in our younger years and before I was old enough to drive Uncle George would let me sit on the center console and operate gas and brake pedals and steer his car.  We had so much fun - always laughing.  We would put his Grand Prix through all the paces, too heavy on the brake or gas.  He had such a great smile and laugh.
Unfortunately, distance and running a business kept us apart, but every few years I was able to visit with them in Las Vegas.  Always after much coaxing during my visits, I would get Aunt Mary to tell me what she might need to have fixed or have help with (trim trees, change air conditioner filter, hanging chandelier over kitchen table ... one year I put up motion detector light temp and asked Uncle George to call an electrician to have it completed permanently).
Uncle George had such interesting life stories - and I loved to listen to him talk about them - WWII, the 3 armies he was in.  He would tease Aunt Mary and his love for her shined through and her love for him.  I will forever think of him and miss him deeply with love and affection.

People like George are not born anymore. He was one of the kind. GOD, HONOR and FAMILY were the most important for him. He helped many people including us. He provided a roof over our heads, and supported us in other ways. We will never forget him. We are deeply saddened by the news of your loss. He helped me with my documents and reunited me with family in Poland. Its a small world in that, by chance-my father and Mr. Kielak, were fellow soldiers.  Jeszcze Polska nie Zginela!

I met Mr George Kielak while visiting my Polish fiance who has lived in Las Vegas. For many Polish people who where coming to USA to find a new life, he was like a father or guardian angel - helping them in the areas of immigration law, paperwork, finding a job or even accepting them to stay for some time in his and his gracious Wife Mary's home. He was an incarnation of the virtues of generosity and solidarity. In all what He did, these virtues were not just concepts, but action. He took care of others and was interested in every person whom he met.  Always on the call. 
I am very grateful to God I have had an opportunity to meet him and listen to the stories of Warsaw Uprising and his initiatives to help Poles who suffered under the Communist regime.
All what he did was deeply rooted in his spiritual strength and his Hope - he always had hope that it's worthy to take action, even in the greatest darkness. 
Thanks to George I learnt that Hope can be re-born out of our own action. 
Last but not least, his smile, sparkling eyes (always so young) and sense of humor  will be missed by all people who were lucky to be his guests. God Bless His Soul!

May he rest in peace. Erin and I are so sorry for your loss Aunt Mary. I will miss that big hug and smile. He was a very kind and giving man. I'll always remember the time I spent with you in Rochester. Uncle George bought me the Jungle Book with the record that went with it and I played that thing over and over! I will miss him! Love you.
