He was born in Denver, Colorado. The only child to parents Ernest and Marjorie McCorkle on April 28, 1943. He went to Northeast High School in Oklahoma City and graduated from Oklahoma State University. Jerry was employed with Sandia National Laboratory for 43 years.
Many knew all of Jerry's hobbies which included- Wrought Iron work, Wood Working, Rebuilding Corvettes, collecting coins, Camping and Fishing, as well as being a member of the Nellis Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.
Those left to cherish his memory are beloved wife, Linda McCorkle.
Daughters Kelly Nixon, married to Scott Nixon. Karyn Page. Kim Adamsfox, married to Steven Adamsfox. Annette Sanchez, married to Ric Sanchez. Jerry also leaves behind 13 Grand Children and 11 Great Grand Children; as well as a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday October 11, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Masonic Memorial Temple located at 2200 W. Mesquite Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89016
