Gerry Clayton Kirtz Jr.

Gerry Kirtz Jr. was peacefully called home to glory on Friday, Febuary 5, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on February 22, 1964, to Gerry Kirtz Sr (Deceased) and Ivory Kirtz. He attended Muncie community schools and graduated from Central High School. He enjoyed spending quality time with family, as well as good food and good music.

His proudest achievement were his children, Shevannah Kirtz, Martika Kirtz, Desiree Kirtz, David Turner and April Turner and 5 grandchildren, Daymarious, Mylasia, Calvionna, Dayla and DJ.

He is survived by his siblings, Debra McGee (Kirtz), Jerry Kirtz and Ronda Kirtz, an ex-wife, Betty Kirtz (Cooper), nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

The family will have a private memorial in Nevada handled through Palm Mortuary, and a public memorial in Indiana.

A memorial is set to honor his life and his father's life. Following the family reunion on August 14th. It is being hosted by his mother and siblings who will be joining us from Las Vegas, NV where they reside.

The Memorial will take place at Shiloh Church of Christ at 820 Blaine St., Muncie, IN 47302 at 4:30pm. Pastor Buddy Kirtz, Sr. will officiate the service.
