Gloria Yvonne Hamilton, age 79, passed away on August 21, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in St Ann, Jamaica, on October 24, 1942. She then migrated to the U.S in 1982, settling in Roanoke, VA. She later moved to New York, where she lived for over 30 years. Ms. Hamilton has been a Las Vegas resident for the past 5 years. She enjoyed spending time with people, especially her family, cooking, and watching tv.
Gloria is survived by her children, Paulette, Dorothy, Desmond, Donnette, and Dalton. Her grandchildren Amoy, Annekie, Garwin, Jana, Moya, Akia, Aaron, Jovan, Shadeen, Todd, Shanique, Paris, Dalton JR, and Arya, and her 18 great grandchildren. Her siblings, great grand nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Walker and Vera Simmons. She will be dearly missed by all.
Her family truly appreciates all the love and support that has been given to them during this difficult time. Please keep Gloria in your hearts and in your prayers.
